2026 SCHEDULED CLASSES

SEWING CLASS BASICS / LEARN YOUR MACHINE
Class will teach you sewing basics, thread types, needle information, basics of
your machine. Much more
JANUARY 11th @ 10am COST $50.

  IRISH CHAIN CLASS
  If you have been wanting to try your hand at making an Irish Chain quilt top, this
will be a great class to take--Karen will step you through the basics and go from there.
  JANUARY 17th & 18th @ 10am both days COST $50.

  BEGINNING QUILT CLASS

KAREN  will be offering the Beginning Quilt class
this will be a 6 week course, being offered with either a day
class or evening class to suit your schedule.

MARCH 8th @ 10am / SUNDAY
  OR
   MARCH 11th @ 5:30pm / WEDNESDAY
COST $75.

Tips from Jane

Pinking shears are a great tool to use when cutting fabrics that may be fraying quite a bit, just be sure and check your 1/4" seam as it may be off a bit and need to be adjusted.. I found using pinking shears when adding binding to your quilt is very helpful, cleans up the edges..

Knotting your thread,
Wrap your thread around the base of your needle about 5 times, now pinch the thread tight to the needle, slide the wrapped thread down your needle to the end of the thread where you want your knot to be, you now have the perfect knot.
This may take a few times trying, practice makes perfect..
