Beginners Quilt Class
Karen will be keeping very busy with the upcoming classes, we have a signup sheet and the supply list for the class you are interested in joining -- her classes are fun and very informative..

  Tips from Jane 
Pinking shears are a great tool to use when cutting fabrics that may be fraying quite a bit, just be sure and check your 1/4" seam as it may be off a bit and need to be adjusted.. I found using pinking shears when adding binding to your quilt is very helpful, cleans up the edges.. 

Knotting your thread,
Wrap your thread around the base of your needle about 5 times, now pinch the thread tight to the needle, slide the wrapped thread down your needle to the end of the thread where you want your knot to be,  you now have the perfect knot.
This may take a few times trying, practice makes perfect..
